SEIU District 1199 presents Advanced Grievance Chair Training for State of Ohio Delegates. Learn about improving your skills with grievance handling: preparing your cases for arbitration; understanding how arbitrators view grievances; your rights as a delegate/grievance chair; legal rights of delegates; how to present an effective argument and much more.

Registration at the event will occur from 6 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, and from 8 am to 9 am on Friday, Sept. 17. We will begin training starting at 9 am on Friday, Sept. 17, and the training will conclude by 5 pm the same day. An optional social will also be held from 6 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, Sept. 16.

Once you've completed this online registration, the Union will notify the State of your request for leave. Lodging, meals and materials will be furnished. The training will be held at the Embassy Suites, 5100 Upper Metro Place, Dublin OH 43017.
